youth service to create and facilitate educational and recreational
opportunities for the young people of Hertfordshire

All
events take place within a youth work context and are intended to
provide a framework for social education, enabling young people
of all ages and background to develop a sense of identity, a positive
image and meaningful personal relationships. Learning focuses on,
respect for the needs of others, appropriate positive standards
of behaviour, about team work, co-operation with other individuals,
cooperation with other teams, co-operation with officials, authority
etc., honouring consensus rules and agreements and generally improve
social skills. These are all part of the mission that determines
the structure of all HAYP events. Last year over 2.500 young people
took part in our events and competitions. We currently have 8.500
members in 140 youth projects. For club affiliation information, click
